Yusuf Buhari has been linked to the Daura/Sandamu/Mai’Adua Federal Constituency seat under the APC platform. Stakeholders within the constituency had earlier expressed support for his ambition during internal consultations at the local government level.
The APC continues to deliberate on its mode of primary elections ahead of the 2027 elections, with options including direct primaries, indirect primaries, and consensus arrangements.
